5 Years Later

Everyone here remembers exactly what happened 5 years ago, but it seems like people are starting to move on. There were the formal ceremonies today at the WTC site, as well as a few local memorials; but unlike past years, the other parks were empty. I was in Madison Square Park for about an hour this afternoon, but it was just another day... dogs running (the small dogs picking on the big dogs, as usual), cell-phone yackers sipping Starbucks (OK, I did have a Starbucks grande mocha, but I wasn't on the cell at the time), the Rasta guy making sure I was stocked up... just another day.
