Grumpy Old Ship

The USS Intrepid Aircraft Carrier, which parked itself some years back on the West Side to become the Intrepid Museum, was finally yanked out of it's slip today to be taken down the Hudson River for an overhall. They tried to move it a month back, but the grumpy old ship wouldn't budge. After a month of dredging the mud from underneath, here she comes...



I couldn't stay to watch it come down the river, but these guys got a bird's-eye view (I'll catch up with them later)...
